The NDEB Canada or the National Dental Examining Board of Canada, is the national body responsible for certifying dentists throughout Canada. It ensures that all licensed dentists meet the standards set so that they may practice safely and efficiently in Canada.
Once you have finished the Equivalency Process (or graduated from a Canadian dental school), the next thing to do is:
Written NDEB Canada Exam
Two components—multiple-choice and case-based questions.
OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination)
This assesses practical knowledge and clinical reasoning.
NBDE Exam Canada—Do You Need It?
The NBDE (National Board Dental Examination) is a test utilized in the USA. It’s not utilized for dental licensing in Canada. You have to take the NDEB Canada pathway to practice dentistry here.
